Amdent has a range of more than 40 tips and fileholders for scaling, periodontics, endodontics, micro-preparation and retrograde endodontics. With its wide variety of tips Amdent promises flexibility to dentists and hygienists around the world.

Amdent offers tips of different angles, diameters and lengths for easier access and better ergonomics. Diamond coated tips enables a high degree of efficiency. Titanium tips promises strength and flexibility. With Amdent the practitioner truly has freedom of choice.
Ergonomics
All Amdent’s scaling and perio tips are designed with the user’s needs in focus. The end of the tip is placed in the centerline, just like a pen, minimizing force on the user’s hand and improving tactility. The long tip neck provides supreme access and visibility.
Flexibility
All Amdent’s tips and fileholders can be used with Power-Line, Softgrip and Quick-a-Tip. The combination of the three grips and the more than 40 tips and fileholders guarantees the clinician outstanding flexibility.
Heavy calculus removal
These tips are some of the most efficient tips in the market when it comes to removal of heavy calculus. They are designed to be used on supragingival areas and can be used with high power.

Universal and Periodontic tips
The universal and periodontic tips have different angles and lengths to suit the users different requirements. They can be used supragingivally but are especially suited for subgingival scaling. All of the are available in a left and right version providing access to hard to reach areas and furcations.

Crown removal and amalgam condensation
With the crown removal tips it is possible to remove crowns and inlays. Simply put the tip next to the crown or inlay and vibrate until it gets loose. This is a cost efficient way to remove crowns or inlays without damaging them.

The amalgam condensation tip is used for packing amalgam into the cavity and ensuring the quality of the filling.

Thixotropic cementation
The thixotropic tips are used for aiding in the process of attaching a crown or inlay. By vibrating on the crown or inlay the already applied thixotropic cement will soften and become a good adhesive.

Fileholders
The fileholders are used for cleaning of root canals in order obtain a good obturation. Fill the canal with liquid, insert the file, activate the file and move it slowly up and down the canal. The ultrasonic vibrations will clean the canal from dirt and debris. FH-1 to FH-3 can be used with hand files. FH-4 and FH-5 are to be used with 0.8 mm files. The files are available in different angles to provide access to all areas.

Endodontics
11 different tips mainly used for removal of intra-canal obstruction materials, disassembling of dental restoration and cores, trough and chase of calcified or hidden canals, dislodging of posts and broken instruments, elimination of pulp stones and deep canal instrumentation. The tips aids in the process of providing access, shaping the canals and removal of obstruction materials and broken instruments.

Retrograde endodontics
The tips are designed for endodontic micro-surgery. To provide better access the tips are slightly longer than other micro-surgical instruments. All six tips have different angles to enable access to areas that are difficult to reach. The diamond coating provides a micro-rough surface of the inner wall of the prepared cavity. This results in better adhesion of filling materials.

Micro-preparation
The four different tips are ideal for micro-preparation on occlusal surfaces and proximal areas. They enable excellent access to approximal areas that usually are hard to reach. The tips are highly efficient in crown margin repair, cervical restoration and retentive preparations for bonded composite restorations. With their diamond coating they provide high micro-abrasive cutting efficiency and precision preparations.
